PROJECT TITLE: Provision of Technical Advisory Services for the Inventory of Existing Conditions, Analysis of Specialization Requirements, and Specifications for the Modernization of 14 Customs Borders<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

CONTRACTING AUTHORITY: Ministry of Economy and Finance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the framework of the European Program Interreg IIIA, MENTORING S.A.<\/strong> realized, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Customs and EFK General Administration), the project “Provision of Technical Advisory Services for the Inventory of Existing Conditions, Analysis of Specialization Requirements, and Specifications for the Modernization of 14 Customs Borders”. The program concerned the upgrading and the modernization of 14 Customs posts in Greece along its borders with Turkey, Bulgaria and FYROM.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Project Team consisted of personnel with a broad experience and specialization in European affairs and the management of community financing, as well as experts with a considerable know-how in Customs procedures and security. The combination of these skills allowed for a global perspective of the project, under the light of community recommendations and guidelines as well as the particularities of the customs object.<\/span><\/p>\n

The realization of the project consisted of 3 stages:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The recording and assessment of the current situation<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The analysis of needs and requirements<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The definition of the best way to cover needs based on requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition, as a Technical Advisor, MENTORING S.A. was contracted to provide services for the drafting of the project’s Technical Bulletin for a total budget of 8.000.000 Euros, that was successfully financed.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    PROJECT TITLE: Study of Internal and External Conditions and Specifications for the Development of a Complete Information System<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    CONTRACTING AUTHORITY: Holy Archdiocese of Athens<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    In the framework of the Program “Development of Information Systems for the Provision of Ecclesiastic Services to Citizens by the Holy Archdiocese of Athens”, financed by the 3rd CSF Operational Program – Information Society, MENTORING S.A<\/strong>. realized, on behalf of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, the project “Study of the Internal and External Conditions and Specifications for the Development of a Complete Information System”.<\/span><\/p>\n

    With a total budget of €1,440,169.32 the project aimed to establish a complete information infrastructure for electronic ecclesiastic services to citizens by the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. The objective of the project was to upgrade the quality of services through the automation of communication processes between the public and Church Authorities, as well as the development of a “one-stop shop” Portal in support of online services for the public concerning ecclesiastic affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Project Team focused on the drafting of the final project plan for the development, progress, monitoring, and roll-out of the service, as well as the implementation of the new infrastructure. In order to properly reflect the functional specifications of the Information System, the team used a specific methodological framework for the design and successful implementation of requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    PROJECT TITLE: Analytical Study concerning the consequences of the Migration Phenomenon on Social Security<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    CONTRACTING AUTHORITY: Migration Policy Institute<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The project was realized by MENTORING S.A.<\/strong> in collaboration with Aegean University, on behalf of The Migration Policy Institute. The objective of the study was to chart and assess the impact of immigration on social security in Greece, focusing on the evaluation of the formation and loss of the responsibility of services upon the entry of immigrants into the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The study took into account similar cases of social security systems in Europe to record interacting parameters between immigration and the social security system, examine the economic and technical characteristics of the matter, and developed a series of sensitivity scenarios concerning the basic financial parameters that influence the degree to which they impact social security in Greece.<\/span><\/p>\n
