Mentoring SA undertook the implementation of support services for the project “Integrated Information System for Water Resources Conservation and citizen’s support in Water Issues of the Municipality of Paxos”, under the Operational Program “Digital Convergence” as a part of a Union Companies *.
The project concerns the development of an integrated information system that receives data through the establishment of a system of wireless transmission indications of water meters which will be installed during the project implementation. The information system will process the data and disseminate the results to the consumers.
As a result of this project, the consumers of the Municipality of Paxos are going to have access to the following services:
- Issuing and paying their bills online
- Automatic notification and alert to the consumers in case of excessive consumption or leaks of water.
- Monitoring water consumption through web and mobile devices
- Informing on good practices in water conservation, recommended products, assistance in equipment selection, etc.
Under the Union Companies, Mentoring S.A. will undertake services of training of the staff of the municipality in order to handle new applications and subsystems, draw up a study for the evaluation of the results of this project so as to ensure its viability during the pilot operation and at last will be responsible for organizing and implementing all promotional activities.
*The Union Companies of Mentoring S.A. and Printec S.A. is the contractor for the implementation of the project “Integrated Information System for Water Resources Conservation and citizen’s support in Water Issues of the Municipality of Paxos”, under the Operational Program “Digital Convergence”. The project is expected to be completed in July 2015.
