Mentoring S.A., following an International Open Call of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, undertook the project «Greek thought through dialogue. Experiential Learning Programs», in collaboration with Printec S.A. and Eurostar S.A.
The project has a total budget of 1.1 million euros and focuses on the education and lifelong learning of persons of all ages, through a broad range of experiential learning activities, implemented throughout three years (2012-2014). It seeks to stimulate new ways of looking at issues of global and enduring interest, with the focus on Greek ways of thinking and the Academy of Plato.
Leading thinkers, academics, scientists, artists and intellectuals from around the world will take part in public discussions, educational courses, workshops and experiential learning programs, all structured around the central themes of Hellenism, the state and the citizen. The actions have been carefully designed by the Cultural Foundation Alexander S. Onassis and appeal mainly to adults (teachers, scholars, students and general public), promoting international collaborations and implementing lifelong learning actions of international outreach, open to the public.
The experiential learning programs include the following actions:

b. Visual Dialogues
c. Workshops
d. Parallel activities
Mentoring S.A., having the necessary expertise and personnel infrastructure, is responsible for providing a set of highly demanding services, in order to fully implement and support the organization of Programs during the years 2012-2014, including the following services:
A. Preparation of the Organization
B. Preparation of Educational Program & Content
C. Implementation of Experiential Learning Programs
D. Promotion of the project’s results
The project is implemented in close cooperation of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Alexander S. Onassis Foundation Cultural Center non-profit organization.
The project «Greek thought through dialogue. Experiential Learning Programs» is implemented in the framework of the Action «Academy of Plato – The State and the Citizen», through the Operational Program «Education and Lifelong Learning» and is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund – ΕSF) and National Resources.
